Judy and Hal Meeks moved to Sun City, from 40 years in the Caribbean, in
June of 2000. During their long life in the Caribbean they lived in
St. Thomas, St. Croix, Puerto Rico and Saba, Netherlands Antilles.
Hal
held executive positions in a number of careers, including broadcasting;
real estate; regional management for Nabisco Brands; and ownership of a
Caribbean food brokerage firm. The Meeks met at the University of
Oregon where they both earned Bachelors degrees.
Hal
also holds a Masters Degree from the American Graduate School of
International Management (Thunderbird). The couple have one grown
son, Forrest, who lives in the Bluffton area.
